Objective
The Sanskrit program at Explorer’s Academy introduces children to the fundamentals of Sanskrit, helping them develop pronunciation, reading, writing, and comprehension skills while exploring the rich heritage of Indian literature.
Focus Area
- Introduction to Sanskrit alphabets and pronunciation
- Basic vocabulary and sentence formation
- Simple shlokas (verses) and their meanings
- Understanding the cultural and historical significance of Sanskrit
Session
1-hour sessions, twice a week
- Warm-Up (15 min): Recitation of simple shlokas and pronunciation practice
- Lesson (30 min): Learning new words, sentence structures, and grammar basics
- Practice (45 min): Writing exercises, reading practice, and small conversations
- Wrap-Up (30 min): Storytelling and discussion on Sanskrit literature
